Popular St Ann Bus Operator Chopped Dead in St Mary     

Jamaica News, March 19, 2018 – Popular St Ann Bus Operator Chopped Dead        

St Ann, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – A well-known St Ann bus operator who plies the Ocho Rios to St Mary route was discovered robbed and chopped to death at a section in St Mary on Thursday,March 15, 2018.

The deceased has been identified as 47-year-old Michael Walker, otherwise called “Jah Mikes” of Salem in Runaway Bay in St Ann.

Reports by the Port Maria police are that shortly after 9:00 p.m., residents living in Retreat, St Mary, raised an alarm after they stumbled upon the bus operator’s body along a beach front property and alerted the police. On arrival, the victim was seen lying face down in a pool of blood with multiple chop wounds all over his body.

The body was removed and pronounced dead at hospital.

The investigators are now stating that they believe robbery was the motive as Walker’s personal possessions were all missing including cash.
