Montego Bay, St James (Montego Bay) – Montego Bay Welder Murdered: the St James police are now carrying out an investigation into the robbery and shooting death of a businessman in Montego Bay St James on Saturday afternoon.
The victim who has been identified as 58-year-old Devon Tulloch of Pimento Way in Montego Hills is said to have been a contract welder.
Reports are that on Saturday, January 6th at about 3:00 p.m., Tulloch and his employees were at a Welding Shop which he operates along Salt Spring road in Montego Bay.
While at the shop two men armed with handguns held them at gunpoint and demanded money.
While in the process of being robbed Tulloch reportedly put up strong resistance and was shot in his upper body by one of the gunmen.
The armed robbers then made off with the loot while the wounded Welder was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
