Popular Dancehall Artist Capleton Bail Extended

Jamaica News: Popular Jamaican dancehall artist, Capleton, who appeared in the St Andrew Parish Court on Rape charges, had his bail extended. Capleton was ordered to return to court on September 4th.
The popular dancehall artist whose real name is Clifton Bailey, 51 year old of a Kingston 10 address, was arrested and charged on Friday May 12th with Rape. He is presently being represented by Attorney At Law Christopher Townsend.

Capleton is accused of sexually assaulting a female hairdresser about 11:30 am on April 28th, after he hired her to come to his hotel room to groom his hair.
It is further reported that, while in the process of grooming the entertainer’s hair, he allegedly turned on the hairdresser and forcefully held her down and allegedly raped her.
The matter was reported to the police who in turn brought in a team from CISOCA. Following an investigation the popular dancehall artist was taken into custody.
