Jamaica Crime News, Montego Bay: The Freeport and Barnett Street Police in Montego Bay are now asking members of the public for their assistance, to identify a man who was shot and killed by gunmen at the intersection of Kings Street and Union Street, in downtown Montego Bay on Monday night, February 11.

Detectives say so far investigations have led them to believe that the deceased is from the Salt Spring community but up to date he has not been positively identified.

The victim is believed to be about 6ft tall.

He is also believed to be in his early twenties, has bleached skin and sports plait hairstyle.

He was clad in a dark T-shirt, rip jeans pants,  white merino and striped underpants .

Reports by the Barnett Street police are that shortly after 8:00 p.m. on Monday, the victim was walking along lower Kings Street when he was ambushed by armed men, who shot him to his upper body.

The police were summoned and upon arrival the scene was processed.
