Police Trying to Determine if “Brown Man” Committed Suicide, or if he was Murdered

Latest Jamaica News, Westmoreland (McKoy’s News): The police in the parish of Westmoreland have launched a probe to determine if a man who was discovered dead at his home in the parish on Tuesday, December 3, was killed by gunman, or if he shot himself to death.

The deceased has since been identified as 25-year-old Germaine Thomas, otherwise called “Brown man” of Hartford district, also in Westmoreland.

Reports by the police are that about 6:00 a.m., residents in the community heard gunshots coming from the directions of Thomas’s home, and summoned them.

Upon their arrival at the house, Thomas was discovered lying in a pool of blood with gunshot wounds to his upper body.

Further investigations led to the discovery of a 9mm semi-automatic pistol with a magazine containing ten live rounds.
