Westmoreland, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) –Police Seized Firearm and Ganja: An operation carried out by the police in Berkshire, Westmoreland prompted the capture and charge of a man regarding the seizure of a gun and a few rounds of ammo on Tuesday, May 23.
Charged with Illegal Possession of Firearm and Ammunition, Possession of and dealing in Ganja is 25-year-old Conive Hamilton. otherwise known as, ‘Connie’, of Berkshire, Westmoreland.
Police reports are that, around 4:50 a.m., lawmen equipped with a court order, went to the premises where Hamilton was accosted. He, as well as the premises was searched and One dark Taurus gun, with a magazine containing 10 rounds and 30 pounds of ganja were seized.
He is booked to appear in the Western Regional Gun Court on Wednesday, May 31 and the Westmoreland Parish Court on Friday, June 2.
