Police Seeking Suspect in Connection with Woman Found Murdered in Orange, St James

Jamaica Crime News, St James: Detectives attached to the Freeport police station  in the parish of St James have now indicated that they are presently in search of two men, who they believe can assist them in their investigations into the death of a 25-year-old woman who was discovered  with her throat slashed in bushes in Orange District on Saturday, June 9, 2018. .

The police say they have now made some headway into the investigation over the past few days and they are unable to release the names of the suspects at this early time.

Kimone Campbell otherwise called “Kim”  also of Sign Orange, was reported missing on Tuesday, June 5th, and was last seen at her home in Orange on the afternoon of Monday, June 4th.  The following day family members discovered that she was missing and a report was made to the police.

On Saturday afternoon, a resident of Orange community stumbled upon her partially decomposed body which was also partially nude in bushes and alerted the police.

Upon arrival of the police, the victim was discovered lying on her back, wearing only her underwear with multiple stab wounds to her upper body and her throat slashed.

The scene was processed and Campbell’s body later removed and pronounced dead at hospital.
