Police Seeking Public Assistance to Identify Persons behind Shooting Death of Bus Operator in Downtown Kingston

The Denham Town Police are now asking members of the public for their assistance to identify the persons behind the shooting death of a bus operator in the downtown area of Kingston on Tuesday May 15th.

The deceased has been identified as Peter Allen, 65 year old bus operator of Bond Street in Kingston 14.

Reports by the Denham Town Police are that, shortly after 4:30 pm on Tuesday, Allen and some friends were sitting and having a drink at a bar located along Darling Street in downtown Kingston.

Minutes later two armed men entered the establishment and opened fire hitting Allen all over his body. The men then escaped in the area on foot.

The Denham Town Police were summoned and upon arrival the scene was processed and the wounded man transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of these men are being asked to contact the Denham Town Police, Police 119, Crime Stop or Operation King Fish.
