Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Police Seeking Help to Identify Man Murdered: The Barnett Street police are now asking members of the public for their assistance, to identify a man who was shot and killed by unknown assailants in the Peoples Arcade in Montego Bay, St James on Wednesday night, June 7.

Investigators say the victim is of dark complexion, about 5ft 10 ins tall, sports a low cut hairstyle and is believed to be in his mid-twenties.

The victim was wearing floral shorts, purple underpants, yellow shirt and a pair of black and white sneakers.

Reports are that, about 9:00 pm on Wednesday, June 7th, the victim was standing outside a shop located inside the People’s Arcade, in the vicinity of the Montego Bay Transport Centre, when he was approached by a man armed with a handgun.

The gunman opened fire hitting the victim several times to his upper body and made good his escape on foot in the area.

The Barnett Street police were alerted, upon arrival, the victim was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
