Detectives attached to the Half Way Tree police station are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a man who was shot and killed on Worthington Terrace, Kingston 5, on Saturday, January 11.
The body is of dark complexion, medium built, has low hair cut, about 5ft-7ins tall, and appears to be in his late fifties.
The victim was clad in a white T-shirt, blue and white shorts and a pair of green sneakers.
Residents in the area reported that the victim goes by the names Gilly Priest and Leroy Gilzene.
Reports are that about 7:45 p.m., the deceased was riding his bicycle along Worthington Terrace when he was pounced upon by armed men and shot multiple times to death.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, he was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
