The Clarendon police say they have already identified one of five men, responsible for sparking an incident in Spaulding, Clarendon on Tuesday, February 5, which led to a police officer being physically abused, a bus operator shot and a police service vehicle destroyed.
A police source told MCKOY’S NEWS that they have already pinpointed one of the men and he is now been sought, also they are using intelligence to identify the other four perpetrators who will all be brought to justice.
A press release sent out by the police High Command on Wednesday stated that the ” JCF is now asking members of the public to cease from interfering with police officers while carrying out their lawful duties”.
” While our officers are trained to deal with different situations, it is imperative that citizens recognize that they have a duty to comply with the officer, and not to encourage others to attack the police “.
In the meanwhile, MCKOY’S NEWS has learned that the bus driver who is known as ” Short Boss ” has gone through surgery and is now at the hospital in stable condition.
The shooting is also been investigated by a team attached to INDECOM and the Inspectorate of Constabulary, who are asking eyewitnesses to come forward.
