Jamaica Crime News: Police Picked Up Suspect Who Beheaded Man in Central Village – The St Catherine police say they have now arrested a man as the prime suspect in the beheading of another man, in Central Village on the weekend.

Detectives report that the suspect is among seven other men picked up during the recent curfew imposed in Central Village. He was also being sought for the shooting death of a common law couple in Central Village in late 2018.

30-year-old, Bryan Mitchell, otherwise called “OG ” of Webster Boulevard in Central Village was beheaded on Friday night into Saturday morning of February 9.

Reports by the police are that about 7:00 a.m., on Saturday morning,  residents walking along Mandela Highway in Central Village, stumbled upon the head of a man along the roadway and alerted them.

The lawmen rushed to the location and upon their arrival, they stumbled upon Mitchell’s decapitated head in a cluster of grass, off the roadway.

Further investigations in the area led to the discovery of Mitchell’s headless body, which was seen lying on the bank of a canal.

One source told our news team that the series of murders is a reprisal for the murder of a man in the area on Thursday night.
