Police Constable Murdered

St Catherine, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Police Constable Murdered: A Police Constable attached to the Stadium Police Station in St Catherine was shot and killed by unknown assailants at his home in Portmore on Tuesday night.

He has been identified as, 29-year-old Constable Nicaldo Alphanso Green who hails from Myersville in St Elizabeth.

Reports from the St Catherine Police are that, Constable Green drove home to Portmore about 10:45 pm on Tuesday.

As he entered the house he was ambushed by unknown assailants who shot him several times to his upper body. The gunmen then made off with his service revolver and a red motor car which the victim was driving.

Residents in the community alerted the police. Upon arrival, the victim was rushed to the Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, condolences are pouring out to the family of the slain Police Constable from other members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force.

The young cop was said to have been a very loving and kind individual who was always dedicated to his work.
