St. Andrew, Jamaica (McN) – Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF), constable Constantine Ward was charged with rape, following a ruling by the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
It is reported that constable Constantine Ward, who is also a student at the University of Technology (UTECH), in St. Andrew, allegedly sexually assaulted a fellow student while they were on a school retreat in Montego Bay last year .
Ward appeared before the St. Andrew Parish Court on Monday afternoon where he was offered bail of J$350,000.
The constable, who is represented by attorney Pierre Rogers, has plead not guilty.
He is scheduled to return to court next month.
