Police charged ‘Cake Soap’ with fatal stabbing of man in Christiana

Jamaica News: A man has been arrested and charged by the Manchester Police in relation to the stabbing death of another man in Christiana in the parish on Christmas Day, last year.

The suspect identified as 28-year-old Andre Pryce, otherwise called ‘Cake Soap’, of Craighead in Manchester, is charged for the killing of 22-year-old Chevon Bromfield, also known as ‘CK’, of Colleyville, also in the parish.

According to reports are that sometime after 3 am, Bromfield was among a group of men when they reportedly had a heated exchange.

During the argument, Bromfield was allegedly stabbed by Pryce with a knife.

The attacker escaped on foot.

Bromfield was transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Following an investigation, Pryce was arrested and subsequently charged.

He is booked for the court at a later date.
