Police are Mid-Season Champions!

Jamaica Sports News: Police are champions of the Mid Season Final in the Luther Buchanan Lambs River Gold Cup with a 2-1 penalty shootout win over Arrow Nation.

The game was very intense as the youngsters didn’t allow the Officers to have it their way and Arrow Nation could have taken the lead with two minutes into the game but the “Police” goalkeeper make two brilliant saves to deny “Arrow Nation”.

At the other end, “Police” could have taken the lead when the Arrow Nation defense fell asleep but the Police striker was wasteful. At the end of the 70 minutes of regular time it was locked at 0-0 and through extra, the deadlock was still not broken so it went to the dreaded penalty kicks.

“Police” scored two of their three kicks while “Arrow Nation” scored only one.The goalkeeper for the Police team was the hero as he saved two of the penalties.
