(Mckoy News)- Pitfour Shooting: The Granville police in St James have reported that three men including an alleged gunman were shot and seriously wounded following a shooting incident which occurred in the Pitfour community on Tuesday (November 28, 2017) morning.
The police stated that the victims included a shopkeeper and his son. In the meantime, the wounded gunman has not yet been identified.
According to the Granville Police, shortly after 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday a group of patrons were sitting at a shop at a section of Pitfour known as Love Lane. It is further reported that four men all armed with handguns walked down from a hilly section of the community known as Capture Lane and started to fire on the persons at the shop.
During the shooting, the shopkeeper and the other victim who is alleged to be his son, were both shot and seriously injured. The police also confirmed that during the shooting one of the gunmen was accidentally shot and injured by his cronies.
The police were summoned and on arrival both wounded victims at the shop were rushed to hospital where they were treated and admitted in serious condition. The investigators further stated that while at the Cornwall Regional Hospital, the third man who is believed to be one of the gunmen turned up at the facility suffering from gunshot wounds. He was also admitted in serious condition under police guard.
