Jamaica Crime News, St James: The Granville police are now carrying out investigations surrounding, the shooting death of a Pig Farmer in Retirement, St James, on Friday morning, January 25.
The deceased has so far been identified only as “Rasta”, also of a Retirement address.
Reports by the Granville police are that the deceased was last seen alive at his home on Tuesday afternoon.
On Friday morning about 8:00 a.m., community members went to his home to investigate and smell a foul scent coming from his house.
Upon entering the house, the victim’s body was discovered lying in a bed, in a decomposing state.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, they processed the scene and it was discovered that the victim had multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
The body was later removed and transported to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
