Jamaica News, March 20, 2018 – Joint Military Swoops Down on North Gully
Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Over a dozen men, three of whom are considered to be persons of interest were taken into custody, as a joint military team in the State of Emergency swoops down on the North Gully community, in downtown Montego Bay on Tuesday morning.
The police reported that the operation stemmed from two violent producer were taken into custody in the area on Monday night.
About 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 20, the joint military team swooped down on sections of Paradise Rowe. Several houses and business establishment were searched and the men taken into custody.
The police stated that at least three of the detainees are considered to be persons of Interest and are being questioned in connection with a number of shootings, murders and armed robberies in the downtown areas.
The police also stated that the other men who were taken into custody, will be processed to determine if they are involved in any criminal activities and then released.
