Penwood High School Student Stabbed, Accused Student on the Run

Jamaica News, March 27, 2018 –  Penwood High School Student Stabbed                                   

Kingston, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – A tenth grade student who attends the Penwood High School in Kingston, is now in hospital in critical condition and another male student on the run, following an altercation which occurred off the school compound on Monday afternoon, March 26.

The police have reported that the student who is now at hospital is being treated for a punctured lungs while the other student who stabbed him is being sought.

It is reported that shortly after 2:00 p.m. on Monday, the accused boy and another student got involved in a physical confrontation.

The student who is now in hospital, intervened and attempted to stop the fight when the accused brandished a knife and stabbed him in the regions of his chest.

An alarm was raised and the accused student ran from the scene and has not been seen or heard from since.

The wounded boy who sustained a punctured lungs was transported to the Kingston Public hospital where he was treated and admitted in critical condition.
