Jamaica Crime News, Montego: One male pedestrian lost his life in a motor vehicle accident which took place along a section of the Howard Cooke Boulevard, in Montego Bay, St James, on Monday evening, May 20.
The police say they have not yet gotten the identity of the dead man.
Reports are that shortly after 4:00 p.m., the male pedestrian was walking along a section of the Howard Cooke Boulevard, in the vicinity of the Ruby’s Service Station, when the incident occurred.
The driver of a trailer truck, owned to Tank Weld limited, was traveling in slippery, wet conditions when he lost control of the vehicle and mowed down the male pedestrian.
The pedestrian sustained multiple injuries and died on the spot.
