Patrick Elliot: Manchester Man Shot and Set on Fire

Jamaica Crime News, Manchester: Detectives attached to the Christiana Police Station in the parish of Manchester have commenced an investigation surrounding the death of a man, whose body was discovered on fire in Brockery District on Monday night, May 28.

The victim has so far been identified as, Patrick Elliot, otherwise called “Rasta or Forkie” 59-year-old farmer of Brockery District.

Reports by the police are that shortly after 10:15 p.m. on Monday, residents in the area heard shots and went to investigate.  Upon reaching a section of the roadway, the saw the body of a man on fire and immediately alerted the police.

Upon arrival, the police discovered that the man who was seen on fire was Elliot and it was also observed that he was shot multiple times.

The scene was processed and the body later transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
