Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Passengers Injured After Bus Overturns: The St James Traffic Department are still carrying out investigations into a crash which left over ten persons injured after the bus in which they were travelling overturned along the Iron Shore main road in Montego Bay on Wednesday morning.

Reports are that shortly after 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 the bus which was laden with passengers was travelling from Falmouth to Montego Bay. On reaching a section of the Rose Hall Main road the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, which hit an embankment and overturned.

The Ironshore Fire Department were contacted and a team of Firefighters who arrived at the scene, assisted in removing the wounded from the overturned bus. The passengers sustained injuries during the impact and were rushed to hospital where some were treated and sent home and others admitted.

The Coral Gardens and Freeport police are also carrying out investigations into the crash.
