Montego Bay: Two Shot in Drive-By Shooting in Paradise Row

Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Two Shot in Drive-By Shooting in Paradise Row: A 22-year-old man,  and an  18-year-old teenage boy, were shot and injured during a drive-by shooting,  carried out by four armed men in the Paradise Row area of Orange Street in downtown Montego Bay, on Friday morning.

The Freeport police reported that shortly after 6:00 am on Friday,  both victims were among a group of men standing on  Orange Street, in an area  known as Paradise Row.

A motor car drove up, and four men armed with high powered weapons, jumped from the vehicle. The gunmen then opened fire on the crowd, hitting both victims on their bodies. The gunmen then jumped back into the vehicle, which sped away.

The Freeport police were alerted, and upon their arrival, both victims were taken to hospital, treated and admitted in serious, but stable condition.
