Jamaica News, April 20, 2018 – Palace Amusement Montego Bay

Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Palace Amusement Company has positioned itself as Montego Bay’s Premier Entertainment and Movie Theater for over 15 years.  They have made some changes over the years, and of course policies and prices rarely stay the same. So here are 5 things you need to know about Palace Multiplex before you go.

2. Can I buy my tickets online? – Ummm… No, sorry, not at this time.

When the movie franchise rolled out their convenient online tickets service in 2015, it was promoted as an easy to use and convenient service where patrons can buy tickets online by logging on to any internet device and simply retrieve the tickets, with a few simple steps, at kiosks in the cinemas.

Unfortunately, the service is not available at this time and the only way to get a ticket is to join the sometimes very long line to purchase tickets and the box office. It is recommended to arrive well before your movie’ start time to avoid the crowds and missing the awesome previews.

You can, however, call and reserve a Skybox (located on the second floor) or a Box seat (seats in the chained off area of the theatre) for added prestige and comfort. – Here’s to hoping no one is in your seat tho.

3. Some people Buy A Ticket – while others Buy A Stock. Palace Amusement Montego Bay

Are you a real movie fan? Why not put your money where your popcorn is? Did you know you could easily own a share of the company and turn your love of entertainment into cash returns? Of course, an investment of any kind comes with risks, so consult your financial advisor for the best options for your budget and investment experience.

The Palace Amusement Company (1921) Limited was formed by Audley Morais and operated as a Private Company prior to 1921 (silent movie days). He re-formed the company and offered shares to the public in 1921.

At this time they operate the Carib 5 in Cross Roads, Palace Cineplex in Liguanea as well as Palace Multiplex in Montego Bay and according to the Palace Amusement Company website, the company is listed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange and has approximately 150 shareholders. There are l,437,028 issued stock units. Russgram Investments Limited presently owns 66% of the shares in Palace Amusement Company.
