Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: A joint operation which was carried out by members of the Narcotics Division and the Jamaica Customs Agency, led to the seizure of over $18-million worth of cocaine, at a wharf in Kingston, on Thursday, May 30.
No one has been arrested in connection with the seizure so far.
Reports by the police are that on Thursday afternoon, the officers carried out an operation at the wharf, where they searched a number of containers.
During the search of a specific imported container, the lawmen discovered ten packages of cocaine weighing approximately twelve kilograms.
The cocaine which is estimated at over $18-million Jamaican dollars, was seized.
