The opposition Minister on Tourism, Wykeham McNeill said the People’s National Party (PNP) is not only concern about effects and grave problems that the Cornwall Regional Hospital will pose on patients at the facility, but is more concerned about the effects that it will have on entire Western Jamaica.

Mr. McNeill further stated that the Cornwall Regional Hospital is the only Type-A facility of its kind in Western Jamaica, and they are now very concerned about the strain that other medical facilities will now be feeling because CRH is the only hospital which offers such a large mixture of services in the Cornwall County.

The Opposition Minister of Tourism was speaking during a tour of the Cornwall Regional Hospital on Tuesday, April 17th. He was joined by the Leader of Opposition Dr. Peter Phillips and Opposition Spokesman on Health Dr. Dayton Campbell.
