Latest Jamaica News, Manchester (McKoy’s News): Stabbing Death of Practical Nurse The Mandeville police in Manchester have confirmed that, one of two suspects has been taken into custody, in connection with the stabbing death of a practical nurse in the parish on Saturday, August 17.

The deceased has been identified as 59-year-old Audrey Brown, Practical Nurse of Bronte district, in Christiana, Manchester.

Investigators say they are not yet prepared to release the identity of the suspect in custody.

Reports are that about 12:00 noon on Saturday, Brown was on her way to work when she was held up by two men armed with knives.

Alleged Homosexual Love Triangle Turns Deadly

The men demanded that she hand over her handbag and she refused, at that point, they stabbed her multiple times before escaping with her valuables.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, Brown was rushed to hospital where she was admitted in critical condition. She succumbed to her injuries on Sunday.

Swift actions by the police led to one of the men being taken into custody.
