Omar Watson: Blacka Shine Murdered in St James

Jamaica Crime News, St James: The Spring Mount police in the parish of St James has now commenced an investigation surrounding the shooting death of a man in the community of Garlands on Sunday morning, May 27.

Dead is Omar Watson, otherwise called “Blacka Shine” 28-year-old laborer of Garlands district.

Reports are that about 5:45 a.m. on Sunday, residents in Garlands alerted the police after hearing loud explosions which sounded like gunshots coming from a section of the community.

The police drove to the area and upon reaching a section of the roadway,  they saw Wilson lying in a pool of blood beside his motorcycle. Further investigations revealed that he had multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.

The scene was processed and Watson was transported to the Cornwall Regional hospital where he was pronounced dead.
