Jamaica Crime News, Trelawny: A 63-year-old farmer was shot and chopped to death in the community of Bunkers Hill, Trelawny on Tuesday, October 16.
The deceased has been identified as Oliver Johnson, otherwise called “Bujah” also of Bunkers Hill.
Reports by the Wakefield police are that on Tuesday afternoon, Johnson was in his community when he got involved in an altercation with an unidentified man.
During the dispute, Johnson was shot multiple times, then chopped to death by the unidentified man and another male.
Both accused left the scene and residents in the area summoned the police.
The wounded farmer was transported to the Falmouth Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
