St. Andrew, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) Policeman killed Two Gunmen: two of three gunmen who attacked an off-duty police officer in Golden Spring, St Andrew were shot and killed by a Policeman. An illegal firearm containing several live rounds taken from the men.

The other gunman who was also shot and wounded has since been admitted to the Kingston Public Hospital in serious condition.

Reports by the St Andrew police are that, on Monday afternoon May 15, 2017, the off-duty police was at a location in Golden Spring, when he was ambushed by three men armed with handguns. The gunmen fired on the Police Officer who took evasive action and discharged several rounds from his service pistol, hitting all three men multiple times.

Following the shooting, all three gunmen who were still unidentified up to news time were discovered suffering from gunshot wounds. They were transported to the hospital where two were pronounced dead and the other man admitted in serious condition.
