Ocho Rios Police Investigating Chopping Death

Jamaica Crime News, St Ann: The Ocho Rios police in St. Ann, say they are now asking members of the public for their assistance, to apprehend the person (or persons)  behind the chopping death of a man, in Mansfield Heights community on Tuesday, January 22.

The deceased has been identified as 29-year-old Orlando Mignott, laborer of Warrick Mount in Great Pond, St Ann.

Reports by the St Ann police are that about 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday,  residents living in Mansfield Heights raised an alarm after they stumbled upon Mignott’s mutilated body in bushes in the area.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, they discovered that Mignott had multiple stab and chop wounds all over his body.

The scene was processed and the deceased transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
