Jamaica News: Residents of some Portmore communities are being told to brace for a disruption in their water supply.

The National Water Commission (NWC) said that a Jamaica Public Service (JPS) single phase problem has again forced the shutdown of the Goshen Pen water supply facility in St Catherine.

This issue has resulted in the disruption of  regular water supply to the following communities:

Greater Portmore, Naggo Head, Braeton

Congreve Park, Silverstone, Portmore Pines, Monza, Daytona, Ascot, West Cumberland, Hellshire Hills, Sand Hill, Upper Fort A &B, Johnson Hill, Edge Hill, Cave Hill and Seaforth.

Normal operations will be restored at the facilities once the power supply issue is resolved.
