The matter was subsequently set for trial on June 3 and the quintoplet had their bails extended to that date.

Gordon, who was employed to Gateway Solutions, was reportedly responsible for the payroll. During an internal audit on December 1, 2016, it was discovered that a total of $104 million have been paid out to persons not employed to the company over a three-year period.

The inconsistencies pointed to her as she was the only person who had the undertaking of preparing the payroll. She was subsequently arrested and charged.

The other five accused were charged after it came to light that they were among the persons who caused monies to be deposited to their accounts, knowing that they were not employed to the company.
