Jamaica Crime News, Westmoreland: Businessman Murdered – A popular Westmoreland businessman was shot and killed by gunmen along a section of Namprel Road, in the parish of Westmoreland on Sunday afternoon, March 24.
He has been identified as 43-year-old, Lajuane Bruce, business operator, who resided at Daws Lane, in Negril, Westmoreland.
Reports by the Negril police are that about 1:35 p.m. on Sunday, Bruce drove his Mercedes Benz motor car to a section of Namprel Road, where he was pounced upon by gunmen who shot him multiple time.
Westmoreland Lifeguard Killed in Crash
Residents alerted the police and upon their arrival, Bruce was discovered slumped around the steering wheel, while suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was rushed to the Savanna-la-mar hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
