Kingston, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – After 15 years of dedication and service, Director of the NCB Financial Group Limited, Wayne Chen, also known as Christopher, has retired from its board. Effective, Friday, January 26, 2018, Chen’s resignation extends not only to the NCB Board of Directors but also to the other entities within the group on whose board he presently serves.

These, include the West Indies Trust Company Limited, NCB Insurance Company Limited, NCB Trust Company Cayman Limited, NCB Capital markets Cayman limited and NCB Cayman unlimited.

In a notice issued by the organization on Wednesday, January 24, Director Chen was thanked for his invaluable contribution to the group over the years and wished well in all future endeavors.

He officially tendered his resignation on Friday at the annual general meeting of NCB Financial Group.

A stalwart of the Jamaican business landscape, Chen has received several National Awards including the Jamaican Institute of Management Young Entrepreneur for 1997 and the Jamaica Observer Business Leader of the Year 1998.

Chen is currently the President of the Jamaica Employers Federation and is a past chairman of the Urban Development Corporation (UDC) as well as The National Gallery of Jamaica.
