Jamaica Crime News, St Catherine: National Bread Salesman Shot and KilledA man who is employed to National Bakery as a driver, and Bread salesman was shot and killed by armed robbers in Linstead, St Catherine, on Wednesday evening, May 15.

He has been identified as Charles Nugent, also known as Bready.

Reports by the Linstead police are that shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, the bread salesman drove his truck to a section of the Linstead Town Centre and was in the process of delivering breads at a supermarket, when he was ambushed by men armed with a handgun.

The gunmen opened fire hitting the bread salesman multiple times to his upper body, before making off with an undetermined sum of money.

The police were summoned and upon their arrival, the scene was processed and the wounded man transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
