“Hotta Fire” Murdered In Rose Heights

St. James, Jamaica (McKoy’s News)- “Hotta Fire”  Murdered In Rose Heights: One man has  been shot and killed in the Rose Heights community. The latest victim has  been identified so far only as  “Hotta Fire”  of a Branch Hall address in Rose Heights.

Reports by the Freeport police, are that at about 11:00 pm last night, residents in Rose Heights alerted the police, after gunshots were heard coming from a section of the roadway leading from Branch Hall in Rose Heights, to the Rose Mount community. The police responded and carried out a search of the area  but no one was found.

Shortly after 6: 00 am on Sunday, residents came  upon a  bullet riddled body, which was lying on  the roadway in a pool of blood.

The victim was taken to the Cornwall Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A total of 250 people have been brutally slain in St. James since the start of the year, with over a dozen murders being committed during the previous week alone.
