Jamaica Crime News, Clarendon: A 22-year-old Municipal Police who is employed at the May Pen Municipal Corporation,  was shot and killed by unknown assailants outside his gate in May Pen, Clarendon on Wednesday night, August 22.

He has been identified as Jerald Brown, otherwise called “Humpy” of Gully Back district also in May Pen.

Reports by the May Pen police are that about 8:50 p.m. Brown was sitting outside his gate in Gully Back, when he was ambushed by a man armed with a handgun.

The man opened fire hitting Brown to his upper body and later made his escape in the area on foot.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, the wounded Municipal Police was transported to the May Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
