Multi-million Dollar Water Facility Opened in Portland

Jamaica News, Portland: On Thursday morning of July 26th, a host of community members and dignitaries turned out at  Alligator Head in Portland for the opening of their multi-million dollars water facility.

It was a historical moment for many at the opening ceremony of the Alligator Head Foundation Community based drive and none-motorized Water Sport Facility.

The event was hosted under the patronage of the Minister of Tourism, Edmund Bartlett.

The facility was undertaken by the Tourist Minister and the Tourist Enhancement Fund (TEF) at an estimated cost of $18 million dollars.
