St James, Jamaica – Mt Carey Man Gunned Down: Over the past day two men have been brutally murdered in the community of Mount Carey in St James. The latest victim has been identified as Oshina Cameron, 23-year-old higgler of Top Hill also in Mount Carey.
The Anchovy police have reported that shortly after 8:30 pm on Friday December 21, Cameron was at home when two armed men kicked off the front door to his house and entered the dwelling.
The men then brandished handguns and shot Cameron multiple times to his upper body.
Residents in the community alerted the police and upon arrival, the victim was discovered lying inside the house in a pool of blood.
He was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
On Friday morning another man was shot to death and his head was completed severed.
