Mount Pleasant Academy Recruiting Football Players

Jamaica News, Montego Bay: Several coaches were out in their numbers representing the Mount Pleasant Academy Football Club at the Jarrett Park Stadium in Montego Bay, searching for young and talented footballers to represent their academy in St Ann which is scheduled to open in September.

Eight schools turned out to participate in the exercise at Jarrett Park on Thursday. The teams were Granville Primary and Junior High, Howard Cook Primary, Corinaldi Primary, Barracks Primary, Bethel Primary and Junior High, Irwin Primary, Success primary and Chetwood Primary.

The event saw two female footballers turning out for the recruitment, Kameko Jones of Chetwood and Britney Gregory of Corinaldi Primary. Some of the coaches in attendance were Pau Tegat Davis Donovan Duckie, Marcell Gayle, Vanie Clarke, David Pryce and Cleveland Murray.
