St. James, Jamaica (McKoy’s News)- MOUNT CAREY MAN MURDERED IN PORTOBELLO: A man who hails from the community of Mount Carey in St James was shot and killed by gunmen in the Porto Bello area on Saturday night.
He has been identified has Nicardo Green an unemployed man of the Mount Carey area.
Reports by the Freeport police are that about 8:20 pm on Saturday, September 30, 2017, Green and three other men drove from Mt. Carey to a section of Porto Bello community to meet up with someone.
On reaching the community Green alighted from the vehicle and walked unto a dirt track. Minutes later his friends heard a barrage of gunshots and discovered that Green was been shot by gunmen. They immediately drove away and alerted the police.
The lawmen rushed to the scene and upon arrival Green was discovered lying in a pool of blood along the dirt track with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
