Motorcyclist Killed in Westmoreland, Pillion Injured

Latest Jamaica News, Westmoreland (McKoy’s News): Motorcyclist Killed – A motorcyclist lost his life in a road accident which took place along a section of the Springfield main road, in the parish on Sunday, August 18.

The victim has been identified as 27-year-old David Pringle, of Springfield district in Westmoreland.

A male pillion who was also traveling with Pringle was also seriously injured in the crash and is presently at hospital in serious condition.

Reports are that about 11:15 p.m., Pringle and the pillion were traveling on the motorcycle along the Springfield main road, towards Kelto district.

On reaching a section of the main road, Pringle lost control of the motorcycle which crashed on the roadway, and threw them underneath a Volvo motor truck, which was traveling in the opposite directions.

Both men sustained injuries and were rushed to hospital where Pringle was pronounced dead, and the pillion admitted in serious condition.
