Motorcyclist Killed in Three-way Collision in Braeton, St Catherine

Jamaica News, St Catherine: One man died as a result of injuries he sustained in a three-way motor vehicle accident, along a section of the Braeton Parkway Main Road in Portmore,  St Catherine on Monday,  August 27.

He has been identified as Dave Corby, 24-year-old laborer of Monza in Portmore,  St Catherine.

Reports by the Portmore Police are that about 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Corby was riding his motorcycle along a section of the Braeton Parkway main road, in a westerly direction.

On reaching a section of the roadway, he collided with a Primera motor car which was driving out of a Plaza.

The impact of the crash sent Corby crashing into another Toyota Corolla motor car and he landed on the roadway where he sustained head and body injuries.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, the wounded motorcyclist was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
