Motorcyclist Killed in Negril Crash

A 26-year-old bartender died from injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle accident that occurred along a section of the Red Ground main road in Negril, Westmoreland, on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Andre Hines, Bartender if Sheffield district, also in Westmoreland.

Reports by the Negril police are that about 7:30 am, Hines was riding a motorcycle along the main road in the direction of Namprel main road.

On reaching the intersection of Namprel and Red Ground main road, he crashed into a motor car which was in the process of making a turn and was thrown from the vehicle.

Hines sustained injuries and was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
