Motorcyclist Arrested in Connection with Pedestrian Death, in Manchester

A motorcyclist was arrested by the police for his involvement in a traffic accident that led to the death of a pedestrian on Main Street, Porus, Manchester on Wednesday, March 9.

The deceased has been identified as June Scille, of Old Porus, Manchester.

Reports from the Porus police are that about 1:30 pm, the motorcyclist was riding a Cobra motorcycle towards the directions of Clarendon, when he overtook a line of traffic, and mowed down Scille.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, the wounded woman was rushed to hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The driver remains in custody after investigation revealed that he does not have a driver’s license, nor was the motorcycle licensed.
