Clarendon, Jamaica (McN) – A Clarendon mother watched her 16 and 19-year-old sons shot dead, and her 13-year-old son shot and injured, on Thursday morning April 13.
Police today are trying to find the motive for the murder of the two brothers and the injury of another brother in the presence of their mother.
Reports are that 16-year-old Ricardo Blake, student of Spanish Town High School in St Catherine, and his brothers were at home with their mother in Sandy Bay, Clarendon when they were killed by gunmen.
The Clarendon police report that about 12:15 am on Thursday, gunmen broke into the home of the family and opened fire on Richardo Blake, his 19-year-old brother Richard Blake, otherwise called Richie, and their 13-year-old brother.
Their mother was not hurt in the gunfire as she watched her children being shot.
The gunmen escaped the area on foot.
The Police were called to the scene, the three brothers rushed to hospital where the two older of them were pronounced dead, while the 13-year-old was admitted suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg.
