Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Popular Canterbury Woman Murdered: A popular 27-year-old woman who hails from the Canterbury community in St James was discovered shot to death at a section of Mango Walk in Montego Bay on Wednesday morning.

The victim has been identified as Christina Samuels, otherwise called Crissy of 12 1/2 Upper Kings Street, Canterbury.

Reports by the police are that about 9:30 on Tuesday, gunshots were heard coming from the area. Then approximately 8:30 am on Wednesday, December 13th, residents living in a section of Mango walk stumbled upon the body along a back road known as Maurice Crescent and alerted the police.

Upon arrival of the lawmen, the female was discovered lying in a pool of blood with multiple gunshot wounds to her upper body. She was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
