MONTEGO BAY MAYOR SAY LABOR DAY IS THE WAY TO BUILD GOOD COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP
Mayor of Montego Bay, His Worship Homer Davis, told citizens of Montego Bay and media personnel that Labor Day is the way to build good community partnership.
The Mayor toured a number of Labor Day projects in and around the city of Montego Bay and mention that he is very pleased to see the way in which residents and the relevant community groups came out to participate in the Labor Day activities.
Our news team caught up with Mayor Davis on the compound of the St. James, Type 5 Health Clinic in Montego Bay. The Mayor pointed out that the government cannot do everything and it comes to him as a great encouragement to see residents working under the Labor Day theme (Romp it Up, Fix it Up).
He commended all the members of the Health Department, the Jamaica Defense Force, the Montego Bay Community and the St. James Municipal Corporation on joining forces and giving the Center a facelift. The group painted the compound, constructed a Ramp and extended the driveway along with the upgrading of walls and repairing the inside of the facility and also the roofing.
